I'd like to post about issues which appeared on two mail servers after upgrading to MP4. On the Exchange 2003 / Server 2003 R2 (fully patched), remote desktop ceased to function. Rolling back to MP3 restored this function. This is an IBM server with 2 GB of ram. A Kerio mail server on Server 2003 R2 (fully patched) was crashing weekly with an error message of "The server was unable to allocate from the system paged pool because the pool was empty". This is an IBM server with 1.0 GB of ram. This has also been rolled back to MP3. Although a written benefit of MP4 is listed as using less system resources, a Kaspersky tech support agent told me that MP4 memory requirements have doubled over MP3. Perhaps this is why the Kerio mail server was crashing? I have no explanation for the RDP issue on the Exchange server as it has not happened on other Server 2003 installations.
we have same problem report from some of our customers.
Can you write more detailed about role of this server and it's differences from other servers without such problems.
Is it file server this many samba connections per day/ Terminal user server / or only mail server ?
It will help to reproduce and solve problem
