I have now set the workstations to have the Network Agent v8 installed automatically, and this seems to have upgraded the current agent fine. But now when users run Outlook, they are asked if they want to configure Anti-Spam.
* How is this possible when the Anti-spam is disabled, and in fact when you go to the anti-spam features in Outlook they are still disabled.
* Why would updating the network agent prompt the user to configure the 'disabled' anti-spam when they run Outlook? I've not updated the AV to MP4 yet, just the agent.
I've checked the Network agent policy, the Network agent package, and even my MP3 and MP4 policys, and nowhere is Anti-spam enabled.
As we've never used anti-spam in KAV, I've got a feeling i'm going to have a lot of calls asking me what this new message is when they login to Outlook in the morning.
