I'm trying to install AV 6.0 for Windows Servers MP4 (6.0.4.1212) on my fully patched Windows 2k server. I'm pushing this install from my central Admin Kit server, but every time the install hangs at INstallation service started on computer, now waiting for results.
This caused my server to completely freeze yesterday and when I went to restart it was completely unresponsive, unless I used safemode and turned off protection. Now I can see the components under the start menu, but it appears that they aren't fully installed, as they are not listed under Add/Remove programs.
I tried to reinstall this morning with the same results.
I really just want to get the remnants of the first install off my server at this point. Getting the product to actually install would be a bonus...
