I have one computer with Kaspersky Administration Kit 8.0.2048 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0.2.555 for Windows Servers Enterprise Edition and a second computer with Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0.4.1212 for Windows Workstations and Netword Agent 8.0.2048.

The thing is, I can not use ActiveSync in the second computer unless I leave the firewall disabled in "Protection policy - Windows Workstations".

Welcome to forum!

What is your OS on second PC? What firewall mode is set (Low security, Training mode etc.)?
Fabio Martinelli
Thank you for the quick reply.

I am using Windows XP SP3, the firewall is fully disabled now (ActiveSync working), but it was set to "Low Security".
Vitaly Belyakov
Describe what's happening when you plug your mobile device while firewall is enabled. Active Sync doesn't start, or it can't see your device?

Also please make trace files of this situation.
Fabio Martinelli
ActiveSync starts saying "Connecting" but that is all, after some time I receive an error about connection problems.

The log files was too large and I put here: http://www.ipress.srv.br/kav.zip.

Hello,

What if you change the level of Anti-Hacker to training mode, then create appropriate rules.
Fabio Martinelli
Almost! With Anti-Hacker set to "Training Mode", ActiveSync keep running and running looking for changes but nothing else. No sync.
