Is KAV 6.0.3.837 supported on Japanese Windows XP SP2? I tried installing it, and got a lot of errors (that I couldn't read because it was Japanese). After a few reboots, it seems to be working without errors, but I'm nervous to ship the laptop back to Japan.

I'm not sure because the product has not been released in Japanese yet. You can switch the local interface in English by pushing F12 to check if there's no error and revert back to the original localization with F5.

I'm not using the Japanese Kaspersky. I installed the English version of Kaspersky onto Japanese Windows. The errors are back again. The last time, after I uninstalled KAV, everything seemed to run error-free.

Another thing... When installing the client from the Admin Kit, it stops at 92% when it prompts for a reboot. Normally it's at 99% when it reboots, and then 100% after Windows comes back up. But in this case, it never gets beyond 92%.
I'm trying it again today. I installed SP3 for Windows and all Windows critical updates first.

Maybe Japanese Windows XP is specific and can only support japanese build of KAV. You'd better ask to the Technical Support directly: http://support.kaspersky.com/helpdesk.html

I installed KAV 6.0.4.1212 (English) without the Agent. No errors. Since this PC is not connected to our network and resides in Japan, it can do without the Agent. Besides...I haven't installed KAK 8 yet.
