Full Version: Block Policy and Task Inheritance

How does one disable the inheritance of policies and tasks from parent groups to child groups? I may have some policies and tasks that are conflicting, and I'd like to stop this if possible.

Why not move the child groups outside of parent groups ? (Well the only problem with this is it will start enforcement so I would not do this during day)

For policies the inheritance can be disabled at General tab in Advanced settings. AFAIK Task inheritance can't be stopped.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing (moving the nested group out). Probably the better way to do it in our environment anyway.

Not a fan of the inheritance options (or lack thereof) in KAAK 8.0.

Oh well, onward to the next problem......................
