I've updated the admin kit, and it's converted my existing polices over, just like the documentation said, but i'm a little confused.

It says you need to create separate policies, one for any MP3 versions, and one for MP4 versions.

From looking at the MP4 policy versions, I don't see as many settings as I do when I look at the MP3 versions.
For example, on the Settings tab of the MP4 policy (converted), I don't see any settings for "Protection, File Protection, Mail Protection etc.

Are MP4 polices applied in addition to the MP3 policy, or is the MP4 policy applied instead of the MP3 policy?
How do I lrestrict the settings of a clients AV program when the client has KAVWS 6.0 MP4?

Thanks

Those settings moved to protection tab (as You probably noticed by now)

MP4 policies are only for MP4, previous policies are for previous versions only.

Thanks.

I can't believe I didn't see that. How did I miss it. unsure.gif

As an additional question, is there now no where to set the order of update source? I can't see anywhere that references "Updates". Either on the settings or the protection tab.

You'll find it in the update task itself. This options have been moved from the policies to the tasks.
