Hello,

Yesterday KIS 2010 detected a virus on my computer. The name of the virus is HEUR: Trojan.Script.Gen. It also gave me http:xml.cdn-adrotation.com/mG. I have no ideal what this all means, I just want to get rid of the virus. Could someone advise me please?

Thank you

I tried to look up the virus under KIS encyclopedia under general trojans and I could not find the one that I have. How do I get rid of this virus??

Its a heuristic detection of something which is very likley to be a malicious script. If it is detected on the internet (it looks like it has, because of the http and the .com), its not a problem and it never got onto your computer in the first place. Its likely you may have been unknowingly redirected to that website, but Kaspersky blocked it.

Quick question though...

That's great that it isn't harmful, but how do I remove it from my detected threats? On KIS 2010, it shows up on opening page of KIS as a detected virus. Also, just finished a complete scan and another one showed up: virus not-a-virus:FraudTool.Win32.Agent.adv. It's status shows, Absent. I don't think I have to worry about that one, right???

It will say 1, you cannot clear it.
Where was the fraudtool located?
