I have installed WSEE on a 2008 Server and a 2003 Server. When I check the Real-time protection status of each of these machines in the Administration Kit (v6.0), the status says "Running (user-defined settings)". I have verified that all of my settings in my policies are "locked".

Any ideas as to why I'm seeing this like this (or is this default)?

Thank you.

That is just how WSEE reports its self...so it's normal.

What I think "Running (user-defined settings)" means is that it's running your policy. I haven't messed with a default policy in a long time, so I'm not sure what it would say otherwise; maybe just "Running". In either case, don't worry about it, your policy is working.

As I expected.

Thank you Raymond.
