Full Version: dns solving problem after install kaspersky 6.0 WS

Hi experts.
I am administrator of Kaspersky AntiVirus in my Office.
after installation of Kaspersky AntiVirus 6.0 Work Station on some client, dns resolving has encountered with a problem,
when I open Start menu and select Run item and type //my-server-name windows show a message box and can not open
windows explorer for that server,but when I directly type IP address of that my-server-name , every thing is ok and windows explorer be opened.
my DNS client services is Started.
when I type nslookup and type my-server-name , all name and ip successfully resolved.

this problem occured after installation of kaspersky antivirus and I don't know what do I do ??

Please check that you type \\servername not //servername

excuse me, i type my thread incorrectly. my intension was \\servername.
I typed \\servername and have this problem. but when I type \\IP-address (\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) I have no problem.
how I can solve it?

open DOS and type "nslookup <servername> > dns.txt" (without the "") and upload dns.txt in your next post.
