The installation of Kaspersky Security for Exchange 2003 version 5.5.1388 gives error message

Installer internal error..\scminstdll.cpp (375)

and

Error 2004. Error while writing the initial configuration. The Installer cannot proceed. Error code:80070005

after that the installation is aborted.

It is an Exchange Enterprise server 2003 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 with OWA and OMA services.

Do you have all permissions on this server ?
If an antivirus is running on the filesystem, try to disable it during the installation of the antivirus for Exchange.
