I am running Win7

I see other messages in the forum and I am conmfused what to update to. I thought this was a custom build for Win7 and I downloaded the version 1212. When I tried to install I received an error regarding the administration kit connector

I have since run a repair and it has not crashed yet but I am holding on the phone for Kas support and want to be sure before I do anything else.

I downloaded the Win7 public RC originally but in about it says version 604.1150.

Also it was trying to send info to Kas and kept retrying. Mini dump and serveral other dmp files.

Sorry I am not being perfectly clear but I am so stressed with no time. I have a business license

UPDATE: Still holding for support but it is after 9PM so I am doubting anyone will pick up. But it asays someone will be right with me and then more than 20 minutes...

Since a reboot it went offline once and threw a dump which it asked me to send to Kas and I did. I have since disabled everything except Anti Virus and Mail AntiVirus.

It has not crashed. The database is from 428PM today. I am not installing 1212 because it did not work the first time saying admin connector error and it seems odd we would install the standard release on Win7.

Anyone out there??????????

AT 12:19AM a new database was updated. KAS has not crashed since.

Is this the fix maybe?

What build should Win7 users be running?

If I attempt to run 604.1212 with Kas 1150 running (as an upgrade) I get Internal error 2771. AdminKitConnector in a popup box and I click ok and the install fails. Running as administrator as well.

I am not using any Admin Kit with this install

It is still crashing and sending error reports but does not shut down anymore

And, can you upload screenshot of error.
Also first of all try to uninstall 1150 version.

Must say I'm really not very impressed with support for win 7

I have a commercial license for AV7. When I decided to try Win 7, I saw it is claimed on Microsofts website that win 7 is supported by Kas

So off I went to find that AV7 is not supported, but AV6 was. I assumed AV6 is an older version and would be covered by my license.

Having installed AV6 it ran ok till yesterday when all workstations started crashing.

I assume a regular update caused this.

Got onto support who said they weren't interested in supporting a beta version (I thought the whole point was to get feedback???) & directed me here.

- Why isn't there a Win 7 beta forum?

- Having found the latest version of AV6 from the above posts, it appears to work
- Why is the old version on the main page?
- Why didn't my version update auromatically?
- The latest version asks for an activation key, when the last one didn't. My AV7 code does not work.

- What's the status with licensing, is my corporate license for AV7 now useless?

I believe I have a screen shot somewhere but I guarantee that is what it states. Do you still need to see it cuz I will send it when I get in front of machine if you do.

If I uninstall I lose all my settings don't I?

I am running this version because support recommended it. (IE 1150)
