I can't find any information on the difference between the full and light installs...anyone have a clue?

So are you saying that when there is an update we have to manually download them, package them and distribute them? Then what in the world is "Update Application Modules" for?!! And how would the average person know that there was an update?!!

The application module update is for automatic download and install this fixes with normal signature updates.

You can install Maintenance Packs or new versions only manually.
