Hello,
I've just purchased 2x 25 user licenses, deployed the 30-odd clients and installed the 2 licenses, one as a backup and the other presumably as the active license. However, the clients are randomly reporting to the user that 'you have exceeded the maximum number of application copies that can be installed with this license key' and kav6 is disabling itself. This is confusing because on inspection of the clients I can clearly see the 2 licenses installed as active and backup.
Any ideas?
Thanks Richard
This is normal, as the 30 clients use all the active license which counts just 25 licenses. Backup license is just used, if active license runs out of time and gets invalid.
Ask your reseller to put the licenses together or install one key on some machines and the other key on the other clients.
When you install one license as active and one license as backup license you have the total amount of 25 licenses.
You must create two tasks with the difference key´s.

Thankyou for the responses. I don't fancy separating the clients up so I will contact my reseller to put them in one key.
