Can somebody help me. How can I make the updater to start from from where it stopped rather than starting afresh each time the kaspersky lab severs closes the network connection, or the connection is timed out or it encounters what it calls "invalid file signature". Can you imagine how much bandwidth is wasted downloading again and again and again what i have downloaded without making any progress towards completion... help please

Restore-download is not supported by our update system, because it is useless - new files are released very often.

Hi.. Even I am facing the same problem. and it is very frustrating! Whats the solution??
1.Updates are slow
2.They never get completed

all is well today my kis had incomplete updates since Friday 09 2009. constant flags warning system at risk. today I've got a green status with KIS 6.0

KIS 6 is no more supported.

I scheduled the updater 2.1.1.31 to reconnect every 5mins. So last night around 23hours it updated completely and re-translated successfully!

But another problem. my KIS9.459 cannot update from the re-translated data from the updater. updating always aborts at around 45%. It says, "no update source selected". See update log below.
It always stops at or immediately after bases/hips/hipsdb.xml

bases/hips/hipsdb.xml - is this file really presented or not?
