I currently use Kaspersky Business Space Security. In an attempt to install Workstation 6.0.3.837 on a new installation of Windows 7 Enterprise (Build 7600), I recieved several errors due to incompatibility with Windows 7. In researching this on the Kaspersky site, I see that there is a new Maintenance Pack (Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstation 6.0 Maintenance Pack 4) which offers Windows 7 support. I downloaded this and unpacked it to create an installation package to push out via the Administration Kit. When I attempt to make the installation package, I recieve an error stating that the "Current version of Administration console is not supported. It is recommended to upgrade Administration console to a newer version". Well, from what I can tell, that only version newer than what I am currently using (I am at 6.0.1710), is a beta version of Administration Kit 8.0, which I can't even find on the site.
Am I doing this all wrong??? I can't find any info on installing maintenance packs in the Knowledge Base. Can someone give me a little insight on how to upgrade to the new maintenance pack, or what I may have done wrong previously? Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
