Hey all

Just noticed in the windows7 page of the kaspersky website that the version 6.0 RC will be replacing the TP and that all users are welcome to test it.

The thing is, the TP is 8.0 and I've been using it for 2-3 months so far and works perfectly. Does the 6.0 RC include all the features of the 8.0 TP? Especially the firewall?

i tried both on windows 7 beta (8.0 TP) and RTM (6.0 RC) and the firewall is there. the version 6 replaces the version 8 TP and has the same feature set as far as i could see.

how about the antivirus engine? I read that in 8.0 it was a brand new engine. In 6.0 are they using the same engine or the older one found on the older 6.0 version?

v8 corporate have new engine comparing with v6 corporate.
Try the last RC3, you can download in Kaspersky public testing.
