We have been having an issue for the past couple of months and it all started around the same time we deployed KAV. I have a two part question. First, does anyone know if the Admin Kit WOL feature will wake up systems that do not have KAV or the network agent installed? This ties in with my second question, we have been having issues where dual monitor systems come up with only one monitor and no one can pinpoint what exactly the issue is. So far we have narrowed it down to systems that are woken up by WOL. The problem is that the system that had this issue was started up at the time when the Kaspersky Admin Kit sent out its WOL command for the network and the system in question does not have KAV or the network agent installed.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks,
Raymond Hartneck
Ummm, I think in order to use WOL with Kaspersky, you just need it in a Logical Group. You shouldn't need to install any Kaspersky Product to utilize the "Magic Packet", but it will need to be in a logical Kaspersky group. and have WOL enabled.

Call your PC Vendor. I have a ton of dual monitors here at my office, and I've never had an issue with WOL making one not work.
