This is GUI Suggestion...

Right click KIS icon on systray > Choose "Network Monitor" > Choose "Connection and ports" Tab

on this tab it will shows so many applications with active "local ports"!
it shows active and established (what i mean by established is... it has "remote ports" "remote address" and it has established connections)
this showing type is showing too much, if i use the [-] sign it didn't show any activity which i don't like.

So my suggestion is this.

add 2 tab under this "connection and ports" tab

1. Established
2. Active

when an application communicating with external connection then this application will show at "Established" and "Active"
when an application not communicating with any connection then this application will show only at "Active" tab

OR... if we choose [-] sign it will only show "Established" connection, and if we choose [+] sign it will show both "Active" and "Established"

AND...
another Future suggestion if this thing got implemented is:

at "Established" tab it will have option to show/hide application connection history, that was established after (Recent minutes, or x* Hour(s), x Day(s), x Week(s), x Month(s), x Year(s) )

*x is variable. x is 1-~

Thanks i hope you like it and can get implemented.

But the connection is not in Network Monitor if it is not already active to begin with. If it is just listening the direction and external will be blank. Also the duration tab is also present.

exactly those "listening" is have local ports and local address but it has blank external ports and address, 1 application has many listening local ports therefore its too many to show.

the idea is to hide this listening and only show established.

I'm sorry if i didn't make this suggestion clear enough, i'm not expert smile.gif just loves simple things.

And bring back "close connection" that has on KIS7! Sometimes it's useful kill some unwanted connections.
