I installed an admin kit version 6.0.1710 successfully last week, however on monday we were getting the "Initialisation of the kasperky admin kit failed. kaspersky was improperly installed or an invalid server address was specified. would you like to specify another address"
we have tried everything, from entering the current IP address of of the computer to even using "localhost" but still nothing. system restores havent worked either.
is there any way to fix this

Hello,
have you checked that AK service is up and running?
Under which account this service is running? Have you changed this account after the installation?

We are running this under the admin account, the AK is in the services
mastropizza
ok, but again:

1) is it a domain admin account?
2) is this service running? It might be in the list but stopped...smile.gif
3) have you changed this account (you specified it during AK installation) after the installation finished?

It seems that the issue is bigger than the admin kit, i was doing a reinstall of the AK but when it came to browsing for the Domain, it was none existent, it only had the Local Computer as the option. so we will do general trouble shooting first then work on the AK
Thanx for the help anyway...
