I had just finished performing a GSI report and rated my files. There were quite a few unknow files in the report. When I GSI'd it and searched Bit9, Threat Expert, or Google, some of the files results came out to be bad. Ok, so I rated them as bad and not real sure how I should address these new found bad files. Should I be worried about my internet security? Why hasn't Kaspersky warned me about them if they do exist in my computer? Also, new to this security program. I've read the Walk through for GSI for some kind of information but I gues I am unable to comprehend. unsure.gif

Ok. I know this wasn't the best topic. If I figure out how to delete this topic I will, so no worries. I'll try and catch up.

So I guess I'll just post the GSI report from my desktop to here. I've also performed a full scan and no virus or vulnerabilites found. But if you get time, can you please check my report out and let me know if it is okay.

Caos,

Thanks for the prompt suggestion of deleting Symantec. Will do immediately. I guess when I created the GSI report I didn't have the Vista SP2 installed yet. I currently have Vista SP2 and all the updates. My deepest apologies about Windows Security, but couldn't I just disable Windows from montitoring firewall, defender, maleware protection, and Internet securtiy? What would happen if both anti virus protection programs at the same time? I'm just curious to what could go wrong. Sorry, don't mean to be a bug. But its better than a poke in the eye isn't it?
