Full Version: avp.exe Application Error

HI Guys

I am using Kas 6.0 Windows Workstation, which is installed along with the network agent on XP sp2 on my network, in 2 of the PCs i am getting this error after the instalation, it starts and updates, but after some time it flashes this error,

The instruction at "0x00000001"referenced memory at "0x00000001". The memory could not be "read"

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancle to Debug the program


I have completely reinstaled Kas 5 times but result is the same. There are no virus, drives are fully scaned. Any solution for this ? ss is attached

And please attach here the report file of GetSystemInfo utility, upload that file on http://support.kaspersky.fr/getsysteminfo/ and post the link of that report here.

I did it, now i have chnaged to new version kas 7 but its giving me the same error. now what ??? but if i use mcfee or any other av its ok .... wht to do now , because we have kas corp lic i have to use ks any more ideas

Try software like CCleaner and Registry Mechanic,.. and then re-install again..

KAS 7 is not available. Do you mean V6 MP4?

Vers. 9 is a Home User Product and you cannot use it in conjunction with network agent.

Please verify the exact build number.

Thats right, i just installed it after uninstalling the ver 6 and agent as well, it wasjut to test if the error come if i use a different version,

Do you have any entries in event log?

What was previous antivirus you used?
Maybe some files or folder need to manually remove.

Yes it gives that error everytime it tries to update,

You can enable tracing and reproduce the problem.

Did you open a case by Kaspersky support?

I can try for the tracing , No i have not opened a case, whts the procedure ?
