I am from kaspersky chinese forum.I I come here to report a problem. Kaspersky "Rootkit Scan" item maybe lead to a BSOD or make system run slowly when Scanning.I know it is a important test item.Some user want to close it,but nothing can found to close it.it seems a PDM behavior and automatically start. we hope that kaspersky 2010CF2 can add a config to control "Rootkit Scan" item in kaspersky options! Let user setup whether scan or not!

If the rootkit scan leads to a BSOD, get the user to contact Kaspersky Support.

Well, the "Rootkit Scan" often make system run slowly ,what happened! Some situation happened in playing Online Game.The scan can lead to five minutes or more system pause！

It sounds a good news.Chinese Users really hope kaspersky can improve it.By the way!Kaspersky 2010 Series Edition is conflicted with QQ Series Game made by Tencent Corp and so on.The system dirver "Tesafe.sys" belongs to QQ Series Game lead to BSOD.If you uninstall Kaspersky,The system will ok.We hope kaspersky can fix this issue in CF2.
