Full Version: Feedback on KIS 2010

Hello happy.gif

As a paid customer of KIS 2010, i decided to provide you some feedback
on the product:

- The feature analyzing .exe files before allowing it to be run is a nice feature, but you should restore the dialog box with progress bar explaining KIS is analysing the .exe (like in a previous version of KIS) as the operation is time, memory and processor consuming.
Actually it seems the launch of an .exe is "hanging" when it is fact just delayed by KIS analysis.

- The settings Import/Export feature does not keep antispam "my email adresses" settings and more generally antispam settings.

- Please add a "Add to Exclusion list" and a "Add to trusted list" option in the windows explorer right click shell menu to permit adding files the user trusts by default to be added without having to launch KIS configuration window and adding the file in the exclusion/trusted lists.

- Your newsletter (either on english or french KIS website) is not functioning: i have subscribed several time and i never received the letter

- KIS should alert the user when a update of KIS itself (not the databases) is available.
Actually, if we do not check the website manually we are not informed a new KIS version is made available.

Best regards,
Drexler

hello
-it should be there, are you running 9.0.0.463?
-that's a known issue, some import/exports aren't working, and should be addressed.
-that just bloats the explorer menu, and only a few will use that, so it's not something that's likely to be implemented
-works fine here, where did you subscribe from
-newsletter does it, and kis has that ability - it's implemented, it's just not used (basically someone has to make a "There's a new version out", message on the servers for kis to find, and it's not done.

I am.

I am using Windows 7 RC x64.
Is that the explanation of the exe pre-launch analysis message not displayed?
Lucian Bara
windows 7 isn't supported, you could try the latest beta which has support for windows 7 (9.0.0.673)
