I have about 1200 clients. using admin Kit 6.0.1710 and Network agent are 6.0.1565 and 6.0.1710 but from where can I see the agent communication interval?
Helmut
It´s important to use the same agent. V6.0.1565 was buggy.

You find the infos in the properties of the admin kit.

You can find the communication interval in the network agent policy...
Tybilly
Hello,

What kind of database are you using ?
I hope it's not MSDE 2000, because to manage 1200 clients you would better use MS SQL 2005 Express Edition.

is it necessary network agent policy? what is the purpose of it?

whats info?
Helmut
I posted the link for getsysteminfo before.

Policy for network agent.
zysset
For the communication interval is the network agent policy not necessary, because the default is 15 min...

But i think it is useful for the backup and quarantine folders. So that you can see which malware is detected on the client...
Helmut
The additional advantage is that the mobile policy is switching immediately and not after 3 failing synchronization times.

I have read this, but no news for me...

Do you mean, that the communication interval can be reduced and so the clients are switching faster?
Helmut
Yes it switched immediately from the active to mobile policy if you disconnet the network cable.

You can check this. Change the settings in the mobile policy for "Enable interface interaction" under service and unplug network cable.

I am switching immediately without the agent setting. My client switch as he disconnect from the network, but after reconnect on the network again it takes abut 15 to 20 minutes.
