Full Version: Potential false positive related to my HP CM1312nfi printer

Recently, KIS v8.0.0.506 started issuing a warning that my machine was accessing a malicious site: http://192.168.1.3/StableWSDiscoveryEndpoi...05_04_discovery

I ran a full system scan which found nothing.

I then upgraded to KIS v9.0.0.463 and it is giving the same error:

08/10/09 8:55:41 AM Denied Host Process for Windows Services http://192.168.1.3/StableWSDiscoveryEndpoi...05_04_discovery URL found in the base

The URL given http://192.168.1.3 is for my printer. Because KIS v8 and v9 have such a terrible user interface, I cannot tell WHAT software is attempting to access my printer, so I cannot even begin to tell whether this is a false positive that can be safely ignored.

Is anyone else getting this? Any suggestions on how to proceed?

It is quite annoying...because it comes up every 5-10 minutes.
