Hi Guys,

I created an update agent per group (http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=202252699). i understand that this update agent will be the source of update (database signature).

I have 500+ pc divided into 30 domains (e.g workgroup, mshome, managers, operators, acct. and etc.)
I have configured one update agent per group

The question is how do i configure thru KAK the workstations (per group) to update thru update agent?
Workstation are still updating thru KAK.

Hi,

You don't have to configure your workstations to update from the Update Agent. Once the Update Agent has been defined, it is automatically used as update source later. However, update reports will still show your Administration Server as the update source, but never mind it works. By the way you can check statistics of each update agent in the properties of each of them.

I already set an update agent (one pc from my group) but workstations (10 pc) from that group (workgroup) are not updating to the said update agent. Anyway, you said that update reports will show KAK as the update source but just to be sure that workstations are really updating on the update agent and not on KAK, i unplugged the network connection of KAK and update the workstations, unfortunately it was not updating to the said update source. (please see pic)

KAK version 6.0.1710.
Kaspersky for Workstation version 6.0.3.837.
