Hi

I recently purchased kaspersky Business space security. When i install the (File server exe) on the server running sbs 2003 R2 it goes to a blue screen. And gives me hardware malfunction contact vendor error. Any help is highly appreciated.

Is there an another virus scanner installed? When comes the BSOD, after reboot?

Thx for the reply. Tis is a new box i have just installed SBS 2003 R2. The BSOD comes immedialty when i press next(folder selection) in the kaspersky installation screen.

What is the product you are trying to install?

The best way is to download the latest version from Kaspersky.

Iam trying to do that and their site is damn slow. i have a dsl 4mb it shows me 1hr and 15 mins. will keep u guys updated. Long night ahead i think. I dint have these issues with eset which i have in 4 other places. wanted to try KAV let me hold my comments till i try all possibilities.

I downloaded the latest version that again gives me BSOD. system halted call your hardware vedor message. Any immediate help is highly appreciated. dash1.gif

Is it a 32 or 64 bit system?

If it´s a 64bit system it looks for me that HP Remote Support SWM is running on your server.

Try to contact the local Kaspersky Office.

The issue was solved by local tech support. They asked me to install enterprise edition instead of windows file server its up and running.
