hello
i have a domain in my network .
the kav server is a member of the domain too .
the domain users kav will update automatically from this server .
but i have some users in this network which log in to their pc locally and not the member of the domain . then how can i set kav to update automatically for those users which are not the member of the domain from the server too ? ( they should update manually ) .

Make new policy for those PCs and mark it as mobile one. After that these PCs will update from adm. server when they have connection, otherwise they will be updated from Web.

i am new and i have not access to server directly( i am not admin). could you please tell me where can i create new policy ? and how can i define those users by their ip or computer name ?

Ehmm, if you have no access to administration server, you cannot manage it anyway.

i want to teach him/her(server admin).

Their computer is the member of Domain too . But they login by their XP administrator password (not the domain username). because they need its previlege, and the access of those users to internet is impossible because they logged in locally(not the domain username). Is the problem solving by your introduce , (im asking because i want to be sure, and then inform it to server admin- it seems he dont know how to solve this problem ) . thank you .
