I am the just barely qualified IT guy at my local volunteer fire department. We have KAV 6.?? running on our domain at our primary location. I need to set up a single computer at a secondary location. Both locations have cable internet with simple 'home' routers (like linksys), and have dynamic external IP's.
The admin kit and the KAV server are installed on a win2k3 server that handles files and the domain, the pc's are all winXP pro.

1) Am I better off setting up the remote pc as it's own server or as another workstation through some type of VPN?
2) Will the remote pc need constant (or at least periodic) access to the license file? Or will it only need to see it one time?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi, welcome to forum!

1. Please clarify, what do you exactly want.
2. Remote PC needs to install the license key only once.
