I was manually running a 'Quick Scan' and was about 2 minutes into the scan when I noticed the red 'K' icon in my dock had gone to gray-scale. I wasn't sure what this was, so I clicked on the icon to bring the application to the front. On the main screen where the green orb design that has a shield embossed with the Kaspersky logo had turned yellow. First thinking this was informing me that a virus was dedicated, I clicked on it. It was then Kaspersky told me my license file was invalid and I needed to activate my copy. I navigated to the .key file on my hard drive and selected it. Kaspersky told me this file was already in use, but oddly enough the 'yellow shield' was back to green and allowed me to 'cancel' out of the activation window. Everything now appears to be activated normally. Obviously there are a few bugs in the activation system.
