I am moving the Kaspersky Administration Kit from one server to another. The new server has a new name and ip address since it is on a different subnet. I want to make sure that I have all the steps correct after reading the Knowledge Base Article. During this move I will also be moving the SQL Database to Sql Server Express 2005.
1. Backup the old Kaspersky Administration Kit Database using klbackup
2. Install the Kaspersky Administration Kit on the new server and just create a new database
(This is where I get blurry on what to do next)
Do I do the change server task from the old server and they will start showing up in the datbase of the new server or
do I do a restore of the old Kaspersky Administration kit using klbackup to the new Admin Kit/database and then do the change server task from the old Administratio Kit?
