Hello all,

We are testing KAV 6.0 in a corporate lab, and we are running into a problem where remote servers (across a WAN link) with the Enterprise Server client don't seem to be communicating properly with the Administration Server. We can install/remove the client, and launch tasks, but when we attempt to check events on the servers or try to run reports, their data seems to be missing. I can click on the properties of the server and it will tell me that viruses were found/detected, but nothing shows up in the events report or the virus report. If we go to the server console and check the event viewer, it does show events there and that our test virus was removed. Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks,
Kang

Hello,

what version of plugin for KAV FS EE do you use?
kangsoh
We are using the latest one- it prompted us to install it after we deployed the first EE client.

You need to install some plug in.
When you try to communicate to the FEE server, the server request you to install!
I suppose your initial KAK is only for FS and WKS.
My 2 yen.

Odd thing is that I was prompted to install the plug in after I installed the first EE client. I had assumed that this would take care of things. I'm thinking that I might tear things down and start over and see what happens if I start with a new installation of the Admin Console and then a install of the EE client...

That is not necessary.
Just install the plug in will do. Save time and works.
