Dear All,

I have Kaspersky Server with admin kit 6.0.1710 and using MSDE. I have 950 clients of KAV Enterprise Space Security 6.0.837. My Kaspersky server CPU usage very high. I unchecked the network drive and also exclude the SQL server data folder. But nothing. Please someone help and guide me to resolved this issue. The Kaspersky server has a very good configuration of hardware: Xeon 3.5 dual processor rack mounted machine 2 GB RAM. I also explain that I have installed the VMware infrastructure ESXi server on that machine and on that VMware I create the virtual machine of Windows server 2003 service pack 2.

Some more questions:

- klserver takes high cpu always, or after some events?
- is this server used as terminal one?

We need some additional info:

1. Unpack contents of klcpuld.zip archive into some folder, for example into c:\klcpuld
2. Reproduce the behaviour (100% rate CPU in the process klserver.exe happen ) with Administration server tracing turned on (import into the 32-bit Registry reg-file trace-4-server.reg)
3. Run makedumps_klserver_100_percent.cmd ( makedumps_klserver_50_percent.cmd in case of 50%) -- it will make 4 files: _data.log, _data-*-*.dmp in the current directory.
4. After makedumps_klserver.cmd sucessfully finishes, turn off tracing for Administration Server (import into the 32-bit Registry reg-file trace-off-server.reg) and send to us 5 files: _data.log, _data-*-*.dmp and $klserver-1093.log (Administration Server's tracefile).

Also please specify what version of SQL-server do you use.
