Full Version: No licence after rebuild

Hello,

Using Kaspersky Antivirus 6 in a domain environment with Kaspersky Admin Kit controlling depoyment and licences.

I had to rebuild one workstation, and redeploy kaspersky to it. Now, each time a standard user logs in, they get an error stating that Kaspersky is not licensed. Re-applying the licence does not get rid of the problem, which resurfaces after logging out and back in. Re-deploying the licence from the Admin kit throws an "unexpected error". Logging in with an administrator account is fine and shows the correct Kaspersky licence applied.

This is not an isolated problem, I have got it at two unrelated client companies.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

TBL
Helmut
It looks as a rights problem. Which account did you use for installation?

Did you change the system date?
TBL
Yes it does look like either a permissions problem, or a registry problem. Adding the user to the admin group temporarily means that the user gets the licence temporarily. Remove the user from the admin group, and the problem returns. I used the deployment account, like on all other workstations in this domain. I didn't change the computer date.

Please try to add this user to the admin group and install Kaspersky locally.

What is the OS? Kaspersky version?
