Full Version: Allowed sites in Anti-Banner: where are they stored?

Version: KAV 6.0.3.387 c.d.e.f.i

When I go to Anti-Spy -> Statistics -> Banners -> right-click on blocked URL -> Allow, where is the allowed site stored? If I then go to Settings -> Anti-Banner Settings -> White List the URL I just allowed isn't listed. I also searched the registry and couldn't find a key that stores this information. It seems that if you allow a URL from the Anti-Spy statistics window, it should show up in the whitelist.

Thanks

You are right. The URL from Statistics window (Banners - blocked URL)- if you Allow it - it shows in the whitelist of Anti-Spy.

Thanks Olesya, but what I meant is that I allowed a URL through the method described above and it is not showing up in the anti-banner whitelist. I tried exiting KAV and restarting, but the whitelist is still empty.

Wait, I think I see what's happening...

When I allowed that URL, it didn't just allow that specific URL or domain, It allowed everything under the template that caused it to be blocked. In this case, */banners/*

I know this because I went into Settings -> Anti-Banner Settings -> General (tab) and the box next to */banners/* is now unchecked. I checked the box again to restore the template, and then repeated the allow process with the same results. Is this known/expected behavior?

You are right))). bravo.gif

If you allow from report the template (which is in General tab too) that the URL doesn't add to White List tab but in General tab will be unchecked this template.

You have slightly outstripped me with the answer)))
