Full Version: Network Agent service stops "automatically"

Good morning.

System running:
Windows 2008 Server x64 Std. with SP2
Exchange 2007 x64 Std. with SP1
Forefront with SP1
Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec Agent (v12.5)
Network Agent v1710
KAV Server Enterprise v6.0.2.555
Installation account = Domain Admin
Service running @ Local System

Problem:
Network Agent service stops after start/restart of the service itself as well as system start/restart.
No entries in Eventviewer.
Only Network Agent service stops. KAV itself is running still normally.

Are there any problems known with Kaspersky and SP2 for 2008 Server?
On standard 2008 installations (w/o SP2) KAV is running normally.

Thanks for help.

Regards
Johannes

Hi Johannes,

try to changer the service account.

I prefer to install CF7 for KAV-FS-EE

I thought CF7 was in v.555 included?
551 + CF7 = 555?!? Isn't it?

Helmut
No V6.0.2.555 is with CF6 included.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I installed the CF7 now.

Problem with Network Agent seems to be OK.
I figured out that the Admin Kit couldn't install the Network Agent properly.

I deinstalled it manually and installed it again via Admin Kit. Now it seems to work.
