Failing to get it to work, I also tried to activate the trial option, but this also resulted in the "Invalid Key" message; how could it be invalid when it's built-in?!
I suspect that the problem may be due to my having tried out KMS 7.0, until it's trial period expired. I then found that version 8.0 had been released, so I purchased it instead. Prior to installing KMS 8.0, I first removed version 7.0 using the Nokia Application Manager (also as per Kaspersky KB recommendation), rebooted my phone and than proceeded with KMS 8.0 install. Everything went fine until activation was required, and I've been stuck there ever since.
I have also removed KMS 8.0, and re-installed it in an attempt to flush-out any residual settings from KMS 7.0, but to no avail. I am convinced that KMS 7.0 has left it's expired registration on my E66, and this is somehow causing KMS 8.0 to treat the install as a migration from an invalid key.
Any advice or useful support will be greatly appreciated.
