I'n not sure if this is the correct forum, so let me know if it is not and I'll put it where it belongs
i just installed Anti-virus 6.0 for windows workstations (from a link sent to me by my company). I put in the license key supplied. During the install, it went to update files then required a reboot. When I rebooted. It came up with a windows/system file not found message. So I went to the last known good configuration and was able to start my system.
I then reinstalled the software and rebooted. It appeared to go ok this time. However, if I look at the administration screen it appears the only thing running properly is the anti-virus
It has messages the Mail anti-virus will not start, the web anti-virus says it partially running, The anti-spy is partially running (Anti-phishing and anti-banner fail), anti-hacker fails and anti-spam fails.

I looked at the knowledge base and cant find anything about this problem and if I try to go on live chat or send a message to support, the web page does nothing. Can someone here help me?

I'm running Windows XP professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Thanks

Please specify the name and version of Kaspersky product for example Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations 6.0.3.837.
And please attach here the report file of GetSystemInfo utility, upload that file on http://support.kaspersky.fr/getsysteminfo/ and post the link of that report here.

The getsysteminfor link is http://www.getsysteminfo.com/read.php?file...73b6f1&ms=0

Opening the aministration window of the Antivirus it says Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 for Windows Workstations I can't see any more detailed version number on the console.

Looking at the avp.exe file the version is 6.0.3.851

Please let me know what additional information you need.

Please specify what is the update source for KAV for Windows Workstations 6.0? For example Administration Kit or Kaspersky Lab's update servers?
The update task is ended successfully? Without errors?

Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software (twice) and it seems to have fixed the problem.
