We're still trialling Kaspersky and have an issue with one of our Vista PC's that i'd like to fix.

It's Vista Business 32bit, and has had trend removed, and Kaspersky AV for Windows 6 installed on it.

All was going well for a few days. but now it seems that randomly the PC loses it's network connection.
When it looses it's network connection any programmes that rely on the network connection also crashes too.
Only a restart will correct it, and once restarted, the PC is ok for a while, maybe a couple of days, and then it happens again.

I removed Kaspersky and put Trend Officescan back on for a couple of days, and the PC was fine.
I then removed Trend Officescan again, and re-installed Kasperksy, only to have the same issues. The PC randomly lost it's network card.
This would suggest that Kaspersky is doing something to this one PC.

The PC is uptodate with it's windows updates and I believe it has the latest drivers for the network card.

Also, it feels like if the user restarts his PC daily, the problem doesn't happen as much. If he leaves the PC on over night then, we seem to have the problem more often. Of course, that might all be a coincidence.

I've included a "getsysteminfo" zip file in case that's needed, as I don't know what else to do to fix this.

Cheers

Network driver was provided by Microsoft? Try to install driver from its vendor.

Thanks.

Although it's a little odd we only get this on one PC, I've installed the Broadcom drivers from Dells website, and will let you know how it goes.

Hmmm, I have been struggling with this on my D830 - It even does it with the latest Broadcom drivers on W7.

I don't think it's a Kaspersky issue but more of a network stack/driver issue.

Windows 7 and Kav 6.0.3.x?
