Our office recently installed Kaspersky security and have had several issues with our computer shutting down. When Quickbooks POS is running, the computer shuts down/restarts when Kaspersky is running. We exited Kaspersky because we need to use POS, but are wondering what can be done to run both at the same time, or if that is even a possibility.

We are running with Windows Vista Ultimate Service pack 1.

Please add the whole folder of POS to the trusted zone (path with ending \) and mark "include subfolders". Add all the executables to the trusted applications and check all four boxes. Does this solve the problem?
