Full Version: wbadmin/real time file protection

I have a wbadmin script running on a server. When the script runs via Scheduled Tasks, the machine unexpectedly shuts down (restarts). This only occurs when real time file monitoring is turned on.

Some things that are happening: a wbadmin powershell command is being called by scheduled tasks to run at a specified time using volume shadow copy. If I manually run the backup while the server is logged in, the backup executes without fail. If the script runs via scheduled tasks, it appears that Real time script monitoring doesn't dig that too much and the server reboots! If real time protection is disabled, the script runs just fine.

Specs:
Windows Server 2008 Standard 64 bit
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Server Enterprise Edition Version: 6.0.2.555

Any help would be appreciated. This is in the error logs, but doesn't help too much:

I ended up going into group policy editor in Active Directory and adding rights for the "user" that runs the wbadmin script that allows the account to "log on as a service"
This was under default domain policy --> computer configuration --> windows settings --> security settings --> user rights assignment --> log on as a service
Once I added the account that runs the script, it started working! bravo.gif
