hello

for some reason i have never been able to understand, whenever i get my yearly licence keys through they are never in a single key file.
this year i got one that had 43 licences, another that had 4.
i accidently installed the key that only has 4 workstation/fileserver licence in it on 5 pcs.
as a result i am now getting :Critical: More than 110% of licenses is currently in use on a daily basis
i have tried to install the x43 licence key onto machines that are using just the x4 pc licence key, using a global task but it does nothing?
i assume this is because it already has what it thinks is a valid key?

how do i remove a seemingly valid, but over used key and replace it with another licence key?
where does it live? can i just browse to folder and delete?

thanks

Helmut
I think you get a mail with 2 key-files like this:

xxxxxxxx.key 4 SVR KAV for FileServer (V5.0)
xxxxxxxx.key 43 Node KAV for Workstation (V5.0/6.0) + FileServer (V6.0)

Does the global tasks fails or not. If not please sycronize your network. After a short time the license is changed.

this is what the compatabilty file says:
43.key
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for FreeBSD/OpenBSD File Server
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Server
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Server
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows File Servers
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Novell NetWare
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Samba Servers
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5 for Windows FileServers

4.key
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux Workstation
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows File Servers
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Novell NetWare
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Linux File Server
Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Samba Servers

under the global task results pane, it just says CREATED for the status if the job
its not actually doing anything else?

ill try syncronizing network, but ive had this issue since last week.

ok totally deleted all of the existing "install key" global tasks
rebuilt them
this time the tasks have run and completed ( i suspect that maybe the task i was using was trying to install key on wrong version e.g. fileserver v5)
forced syncronize
now correct keys being used

cheers,
