Most of the forums deals with Kapersky virus related issues and general install or update problems. Although KIS effectively protects computers, in the event that KIS is installed on a computer that has already been hijacked oncompromized computer there is no real forum to address these issues other than cluttering up the Virus related forum or the Home protection forum. The new forum could be helpful in assisting KIS clients in safely setting up their new computers as well as dealing with Hijcking and other computer thereft issues.

Hi,

What exactly do you think the "virus related issues" forum is for (especially considering the first pinned topic is labelled "Forum rules and what to do if you are infected") ? smile.gif

Thanks for your reply

Just thought by doing so it could allow for questions specifically about hijacking etc. For instance Why has netbios been replaced with Kaspersky NDIS filter or why is SVCHost using epmap on port 135 or why do I have DHCP errors in the administrative logs or why does tcpview suddenly have red highlighting and listed process removed remotely.

These type questions may be virus related but many clients do not know how to use utilities line netstat -an etc.

But then maybe KIS should be relabled KISS (keep it simple stupid) b_lol1.gif

Huh? This is not a general troubleshooting forum smile.gif
