We are about to upgrade our IT infrastructure, part of which is a move to a domain.

The workstations currently have a mixture of KAV (90%) and Trend Micro, with the majority due to expire some time this year.

So, can anyone tell me the options and approximate costings (in GBP) for anti-virus for 50 workstations, where by it's all centrally managed over the domain.

We are just trying to work out a rough budget for the plan before going ahead, as this is one of the costs I'm just trying to get an idea!

Not sure how far off I am, but my guess was between £500-£1,000.

Sorry, you must contact a reseller to get the costs for the licenses.

For Trend product you can ask for a cross upgrade.

Yeah, I know that, but as soon as I ask a reseller they will pester me all the time - even if we decide not to go down that road. I've had this before when I was trying to get quotes for Office 2007 - I was being called for weeks by various companies, drove me mental!

Forget trend, imagine it's 50 new workstations and 1 new server.

As I say, someone must have a rough idea - im not looking for £745.45, just yeah £500-£1,000 is about right, or woooh, your way off buddy, try £4k. etc.

Try eStore for your requirement.
But definitely you may get cheaper if through distributor. b_punk.gif
