I've got a little problem with managing linux clients.
I'm using the KAV Admin Console Version: 6.0.1710 on a windows 2003 server to manage my clients. Because one of our customers needs to implement anti virus to their linux workstations I started to play around with the linux version of KAV Workstation. After setting up a virtual Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Version 5 for testing purposes I successfully installed the lastest build of KAV Linux Workstation 5.7 and the KAV Linux Netagent. Some testing later, I figured out that everything works fine if I start the tasks from the webmin management interface (Update and Scan on demand).
After finishing my testing on the linux machine I tried to implement the Redhat Server into my KAV Admin - worked quite smooth after installing the Linux management plug-in to my KAV Admin. Everything seemed to work well except for starting tasks on the Linux machine out of my KAV Admin. There is no error message or something - KAV Admin displays me that scan or update is in progress, but when I'm lookin into the logfiles trough webmin management there is no sign of any activity.
KAV Admin also displays that the Workstation wasnt scanned a long time ago although I manually scanned the system a few days ago (can be seen in the log files)
Now I've got to a point where I cant get out alone. It's not possible for me to find any information releated to my problem so my intention was to let you, the Kaspersky Users/Administrators/Specialists, help me out of my misery.
