Untill a few days ago, I used to be able to use Google website translator to read the Russian Beta forums and now Google translator says when I try to translate it "Translation from english to english not supported" - has any settings on the Russian Beta forum changed? - if yes, please consider changing it back so Google web page translator works.
Regards,
Lucian Bara
yeah, that would be a problem. The Beta forums aren't readable for non-logged in users (try visiting the forum when you're not logged in and click on that section), that's why it doesn't work with google translate.

Don't try to translate a topic Разоворы за жизнь/Conversations about life... wink.gif

May be we will discuss it in a Moderators forum?

Untill a few days ago this wasn't a problem. I always read the beta section there . But now it is impossible

I've opened a topic in the Club regarding this: http://forum.kasperskyclub.com/index.php?showtopic=5222
The best solution (well, a satisfactory one) is to use Accelerators in IE8 or a Google translate add-on for FF... that way is more convenient than copy/paste.
(...or just learn Russian tongue.gif)

plugin=>add-on

Yeh Lucian, thought it was because the beta forum needed users logged in - just didnt know if the login requirement started at the same time or not.

Thanks for suggestions 3x0... Google translator plugin which comes with the Toolbar doesnt work anymore.
Guess I'll figure out the accelerator or stick with copying + pasting smile.gif

Sorry, didn't mean "plug-in" but add-on, like this one for example (there are similar ones): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6938 . You can see a quick tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIH03t2FEfs
Once you configure it, you just select the desired text, alt+left click and you're done (a balloon popups up with the translated text). smile.gif Much simpler than Select+copy+paste in google translate+click translate. smile.gif

Guess those of us that don't use Firefox still need to copy/paste. smile.gif

Just adding an opinion, I don't use IE8 much, however, it's tough to beat the translator accelerators there, select block of text, right click, translate, choose destination language. It works surprisingly well.

My two cents wink.gif

It is tough to beat the language knowledge smile.gif
