I am about to deploy WSS6 to a client. Since the beta forum is closed, I have to ask here:
Would it be better to wait until version 8 it released -- which might be too far in the future.. -- or will the migration from 6 to 8 be smooth, i.e. client workstations can be updated easily through AK?
I have concerns over 2 issues:
- workload for support when migrating
- disruption to end-users when migrating

Thanks if anyone have answer to this..

I recommend you to use WKS 6 and migrate on version 8 when it is available. Migration should be smooth, in any case it can be done by stages to monitor possible problems. I don't think it will be hard work in case you are using AdminKit.

Naturally would be using Administration Kit. I hope we can upgrade using it in future.
Thanks!
