Hi,

Installed Kaspersky antivirus for server enterprise version on a SBS 2008 64bit server. The AVP.exe process constantly has a memory leak when you restart the server. The memory usage is 95% of 4GB and several hundred processes of avp.exe show up in the task manager.

We tried originally installing the 32bit version of the server antivirus v6 but it crashed during installation. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Lyj

On Windows 2008 you must install Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Server Enterprise Edition.

I think you have already installed WSEE 6.0.2.555, is that right?
You can try changing update source to beta update source: http://dnl-test.kaspersky-labs.com/beta_updates/ap/

I guess your memory leak will be solved wink.gif

Thanks for the replies. Yes it is enterprise edition. One thing I will check is whether it is updating the enterprise version rather than server 32bit.
