On my network is an AD controler running Windows 2003 R2 SP2. This server is also File & Print serveur. I have installed on it KAV Server edition & KAV Management server & console (all of them are in the last version and last update). All shared directory are defined in trusted zone.
My problem is that some time PC are very long to log on in this domain (logon time could be 1/2 hour). During this logon process many things happen (folder mapping, GP0 Process, Lod off roaming profil, Assign network Printer , ...)
This problem is fixed when KAV is stopped on this server. The server load is low also for memory usage. In the same period some users are logging very fast and others are logging very slowly. And finaly for the same user, he can log slow or fast.
All system folders %systemroot%, %windir% , ... are also in the trusted zone. Self defense is not enabled.
At this point i'm very desappointed and your help could be very useful for me. At your opinion, i would like to know if it's a better thing to install on this server the "Enterprise version" ?

Hi,
Do you have excluded sysvol folder? Please keep this in mind.
Disable "Scan network drives" in Realtime protection on workstations.
